- wooden spoon
- Grill/ oven / air fryer/ or cooking pan
Ingredients
- 1 brown onion - peeled and sliced
- 80 g chickpea flour
- 1 can baked beans in tomato sauce
Instructions
- Watch the one-minute recipe video to see all instruction steps.
- Heat up a cooking pan on high heat and cook the onion in a spash of water* until onion is brown. Add water as cooking if onion sticks to the pan.
- Turn of the heat and add the can of baked beans in tomato sauce along with the chickpea flour. Mix well with a wooden spoon until the mixture is uniform and comes together. If the mixture seems too liquidy, add some more chickpea flour or cook for slightly longer on low heat.
- Remove the pan from the heat and let cool completly. Once cooled, use your hands to shape 3 burgers.
- Toast the burgers using either a grill, an air fryer, an oven or a cooking pan. I use a grill and toast the burgers for about 4 minutes. Flip the burgers after 2 minutes if necessary, depending on the method you use**.
