No-Bake Coconut Snowballs (gluten-free | vegan)

These No-Bake Coconut Snowballs, made with only 5 ingredients, taste incredibly tasty and buttery. These exquisite Christmas Coconut Balls are also gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free, and free from refined sugar. They make a great easy festive dessert or snack that everyone will love and cherish!

  • Mixing bowl


For the Coconut Snowballs

  • 60 g coconut flakes
  • 100 g oats or oat flour
  • 25 g stevia sugar or any other white powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 50 g vegan butter or margarine

For the coating

  • 30 g vegan butter melted but not warm
  • 30 g coconut flakes


For the Coconut Snowballs

  • In a mixing bowl, add the coconut flakes, oats and stevia sugar. Mix briefly with your hands.
  • Then add the vanilla extract and vegan butter. Massage the dough with your hands for at least 3 minutes until the mixture is granulated and uniform.

For the coating

  • For coating, melt in a small bowl an extra 30 g of butter, and let it cool down. In another small bowl add an extra 30 g of coconut flakes.
  • Use your hands to shape the snowballs, pressing dough in the palm of your hands to make it stick together. After shaping each snowball, dip it in cold melted butter and then immediately dip it in the bowl of coconut flakes.
  • Repeat until you’ve used all the dough.
  • Refrigerate for at least 10 minutes, serve cold, and enjoy!
  • Store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
