This Strawberry Oat Milkshake is a delicious refreshing drink to enjoy in the sun. You can make this summer drink in less than 5 minutes with only 4 ingredients. It is gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and a much healthier alternative to traditional milkshakes.

Equipment

Ingredients

For the milkshake

  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 1 cup fresh strawberry
  • 2 cups gluten-free chilled oat milk or any other plant milk
  • 1/2 cup coconut whip

Optional

  • 2 tsp maple syrup for a sweeter milkshake

For topping

  • 1/2 cup coconut whip
  • 2 fresh strawberries

Instructions

For the milkshake

  • Pour the fresh strawberries, ice cubes, coconut whip, and maple syrup (optional) into an electric blender. Cover with a lid, then turn on to high speed for 35 seconds.
  • Pour the strawberry mixture into two small mason jars.
  • Add the chilled oat milk by pouring it over the strawberry mixture evenly into the two jars. 

For topping

  • Add a dollop of the remaining coconut whip evenly to each jar.
  • Top with a strawberry. Insert a bio-degradable straw and enjoy.
  • Best served fresh.
